First Choice Housing Association provides accommodation for people with learning and sensory disabilities
many of whom have additional physical disabilities or behaviours which challenge services. The majority of our tenants were formerly in long stay institutions such as Ely Hospital in South Wales and Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital in North Wales.
First Choice also provides respite and emergency intervention accommodation for adults and children throughout Wales.
The aim for all our accommodation is to be “ordinary homes in ordinary streets”.

Working in partnership with Local Authorities |

First Choice works in partnership with local authorities to meet the accommodation needs of people with a learning disability. Support Agreements setting out the respective responsibilities of the Association and local authorities are in place and are reviewed annually. |

Support for Tenants and Service Users |

Local Authorities contract with a range of
organisations to support tenants in their own homes and service
users in short stay or respite accommodation. Service Agreements
